Yikes, SYF!
All right. Sorry for abstaining from blogging these few days. Had been busy with homework, compo, revision and buying reference books. Wow. I am fantasized with books recently. Just cannot get them out of my mind. Looks like the motivational camp left a 'stamp' on my brain. Wowwsss. Yay, did not waste the money.
Recently, dunno wat happened, I got scolded by my family members for putting up the posters on the 64hours-task thingy. They say very ugly and blahs. Heck care :D my life (: Now almost everyday, spend at least 3 hours in my sister's room to do homework, revision, and everything else you can think of. Became my hangout -.- Got scolded by her for putting my books on her bed because she thinks that books that are placed on school table are very dirty. -.-
Countdown to SA1, a month? Countdown to SYF, two weeks. Today, Mrs Lim showed us other school's singing and how their set piece is. Theirs is AMAZING. Wow. Main problem for set piece is too soft, a bit out of tune for words like 'boy','the' and had to repeat over and over again.
The second song is a chinese song that is about chasing butterflies. That is our best piece. Major problem is not lively and energetic enough. No smiling and body movement. Miss koh referred us as 'statue'. And the school Mrs Lim showed us, really, they moved like crazy.
Third piece, which is our worst piece, is our deadly blow. Because this piece has been sung by many famous people and all conductors and judges should know it. But we are always out of tune, forgetting lyrics and our articulation(bad). One more. Too soft. Dunno why always have this problem. Have been singing till sore throat. -.-
Many conductors say that we are very good, very musical. However, I think these comments are fake. In my opinion, we sing very badly. Our conductor said that our choir is as vain as a peacock. When the event is not important, our singing is horrible, but when it comes to the actual day, we always like have sudden big improvement :D Mrs Lim say that now our thursday practice have to extend to 4.30pm. Wows. Dead tired.
Just received our new costume. To make one for the girls, it take about $50. But for boys, I'm not sure. $50, big sum of money. Therefore, we must work hard and not waste this big big sum of money. At least must have gold(honours). Hehe. Actually, we have the potential. But, we don't know why sometimes we will give it all, sometimes we give it lesser. Mysteriously, we cannot control it. -.-
Late already. Have to go. Bb.
