Is friendship always longlasting? The answer is both yes and no. Friendship between each other is not build overnight. It takes time. A long period of time. However, for a friendship to end, we just need a few words, actions and seconds. So will this friendship be down the drain? Yes. Is it worth it? No.
Tolerance. The definition of the word depends on each particular individuals. Sometimes we need tolerance to get the friendship going. We need to tolerate each others' weaknesses. Friendship. We need to sacrifice for it. We need to put in effort for it. Thus, we may need to tolerate each other sometimes.
But, sometimes it is untolerable. Therefore, it leads to a breakdown. However, this can be avoided. How? Yes. We need to be tolerant. But sometimes, we must be firm on our stands. We need to tell the person our views on them so that they can amend them or improve on it. Of course, this is not one-sided. Both parties have to agree on each other. We do have to be selfless. Friendship needs contributions of every party.
A true relationship needs to go through many and many and many sharpenings. Therefore, it does not collapse that easily. Many factors contribute to the sharpenings. The true friendship emerges when it is able to go through all these. Why do we befriend each other? There's only a purpose. To build a true friendship.
We have to be able to emphathise. We have to be able to be receptive. We have to be able to not make reckless conclusions about the other parties. These, can help to prevent misunderstandings. But when a misunderstanding is build, there must always be a solution. We must be able to acknowledge the misunderstanding.
Yes. A personality is hard to change. However, there is a possible way. But it needs time. We have to be patient. We have to wait. We can't expect the whole situation to turn around and work it your way perfectly overnight.
