1st Day In School

Woke up at 5a.m. today and did all the necessary things. Then met WeiKang at 6a.m. at the void deck. We walked to the MRT and I got tapped on the shoulder. I spinned around and it was ZheShen! Wow. On the platform, most of the pupils were Rafflesian. Haha. And when we were at around Newton, all that was left were RJC and RI students. While we were travelling on the train, ZheShen told us all about the importants information to note down. THANKS!

Then met Pooranee on the train and she was wearing contact lenses! The Crescent Girls' uniform is similar to CKP's. I got mixed up between the RGS and RJC(girls) uniform. Anw, let's skip to after arriving at Bishan. :D

Cos' the path that all the RI boys take is at the side of the road. Moreover, we were wearing all white. So when were walking down the path, it looked as if it was a funeral. LOL.

I am allocated to Class 1E while WeiKang is allocated to Class 1F. There are 17 classes in the entire Secondary 1 level, all the way to Class 1Q. 40% of my class are indians. WOW. It's the first time I am going to have 2 form teachers! One man and one woman.

All the sec 1 classes are under one block solely for sec 1. Guess what? It's so big that it may probably fit 3/4 of CKP classes. What's the most awesome is that the roof is retractable! All the classrooms are air-conditioned and installed with fans too. So it is breeze-cooling.

RI respects tradition very much. During morning assembly, there are so many procedures! There are so many commands unlike primary school. There are some commands that we have turn right. And when the commands are shouted, we have to stomp our feet and do the appropriate actions. When we stomp our feet, our knees have to be at 90 degrees. It's super complicated. Some have to turn our head right. Some have to turn our whole body to the right and shout 'Raffles!'. And we have to do this probably every schooling day. We were blur when all the seniors did these. Haha.

And during the principal assembly, all pupils proceed to the hall. All the staffs have to put on their robes(?) and there's a ceremony. They walk up to the stage where there are seats like an auditorium. There are 3 screens in the hall for students and 1 screen, which is behind the main screen for students, for the staff. Pupils have to put on their ties for the assembly. (Though the sec 1 have not receive the tie yet.)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Monday. The orientation camp! How's your first day? Why isn't anyone posting recently? Hmm. WeiKang says that his teacher looks fierce. He figured out that many of his classmates are around his height. Good lorh, don't need to feel short again. Haha.
